Positive: Beach view, friendly hosts and nice rooms. The restaurant offers a wide range of choices and we have enjoyed the best breakfast of our many trips to Ireland.
Negative: The only thing that bothered us, was the many TVs showing sports during our dinner.

Reviewer Type: Couple
Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Location (view of ocean, across from Promenade, proximity to coastal path); ambience of beautiful ‘historical’ house; breakfast, staff
Negative: small room (stated 25m room but truly don’t believe it was as we bumped into each other trying to get @ foot of bed & photos of room differed from what we got); toilet roll dispenser ~1metre away from toilet on opposite wall, no way to reach, not even sure room enough for free-standing dispenser next to toilet as bathroom small; water didn’t drain from sink very quickly, therefore little smell from drain which could even smell when in bed (as bed so close to bathroom door); also two wall outlets didn’t work so couldn’t charge devices (we advised gentleman at computer when we were on way out for dinner who said he’d look at but was never fixed). Limited parking & cost 10 euros. Lastly, mandatory ‘processing’ of 100 Euros damage deposit seems unnecessary when staff have your credit card to charge if any damage; have never experienced that in all my years of traveling.
Summary: Beautiful historic hotel in beautiful location; great food/staff but had a few concerns (as noted)
